These beads are sure to steal your heart the moment you lay eyes on them. They are are called Imfibinga seeds (sometimes referred to as “Job’s Tears”) and are collected by the Zulu tribe in South Africa. They are found near the Mpumalanga river in KwaZulu Natal. They come from a tropical wild grass that has been gathered for centuries. The local Zulu tribe call them river beads.
Once the seeds mature, they have a natural hole through the middle, but in order to create this bracelet, hand drilling was necessary. The Imfibinga seeds are complimented with a beautiful 18k gold vermeil clover focal bead.

IMPORTANT: To get the best fit possible, please leave your exact wrist measurement in the comments section at checkout. The best way to measure your wrist is with a fabric tape measure. The measurement should be taken at the smallest part of the wrist between the hand and wrist bone. If you don’t have a fabric tape measure, you can use string and a ruler. You will need to wrap the string around your wrist and measure it. After you measure it, cut it to the length you measured. Wrap it around again and make sure that it is a perfect (not loose) fit. If it is loose and overlaps, cut again and double check, then send me the final measurement.
